I’m a designer, researcher, and strategist with two decades of expertise in digital products and experiences. I specialize in early to growth-stage projects, and I’ve helped to build several successful products and brands.
My academic background in ethnography and art at Yale, and in digital media a NYU's Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP), laid the foundations for my work as a designer. I co-founded WIKA, an experience design studio in downtown Manhattan, where I led the creative vision for large-scale video and interactive installations for U.S. and European brands such as Malin+Goetz, Knoll, Journelle, Horizon Media, Architectonics, Givaudan, and Philips Aurea. I collaborated with the legendary furniture brand Knoll to create a public cinema experience at their showroom on Boulevard St. Germain in Paris.
Building on my work with digital brand experiences, I became a freelance creative director and filmmaker for luxury marketing agencies in New York. In this role, I led design teams in creating innovative visual experiences for The Plaza Hotel, Rosetta Stone, The Beekman Hotel, and American Express's Centurion and Platinum cards.
In 2012, I co-founded Kabinet, a social-commerce startup in the personal care industry. I raised seed funding, assembled a product team, led design, and built a network of beauty influencers from the fashion and entertainment industries.
Building from my experience with Kabinet, I began consulting on product design and strategy for early and growth-stage products. I have advised on software across diverse industries, including content analytics (Swayable at Y-Combinator), desktop 3D printing (nTop), academic document sharing (Databyss), flower delivery (Bloompop), networking (Checkin), and VR architectural visualization (IrisVR).
Most notably, I led design for Sefaria, an innovative open-source platform for Jewish texts. In close collaboration with Sefaria’s co-founder and CTO, we took the product from a prototype to a global user base of ~1 million monthly users. My design contributions have included a dual-panel reading system recognized by Siggraph, top-rated iOS and Android apps, a self-publishing platform, and AI-driven learning modules.
In addition to my design work, I serve as adjunct faculty at New York University and American University, where I develop and teach courses in digital media and experience design. I have developed several research initiatives through NYU, including The Satellite, a real-time visualization of live earth data supported by Hewlett-Packard.
With this background in creative and product leadership, I’m able to craft impactful products and experiences that drive user engagement and brand loyalty.
